Coors Brewers, one of the world’s largest brewing companies, will improve the time it takes to resolve customer disputes thanks to a new partnership with specialist outsourcing organisation Avance.
Disputes over invoices are traditionally a major headache for businesses balancing customer satisfaction and keeping down the time it takes to get paid for the goods and services they provide.
But a system now to be provided by Avance will please both sides in these disputes, halving the time it takes Coors to resolve its customers’ disputes, and as a result, speeding up payment for beer and other goods.
Graham Higgins, director responsible for Avance’s leisure sector operations, says, “We have been working with Coors for eight years, managing their credit management function on an outsourced basis. Taking over the management of invoice disputes, is a logical next step, as a significant number of the cases we deal with stem from disputes over deliveries and invoicing. If we can improve this process, we can improve the entire credit management process.”
Three years ago, Coors identified speeding up dispute resolution as a way to improve customer satisfaction and get paid more quickly for goods and services for another blue chip partner. That development has reduced payments outstanding by millions of pounds, while reducing the level of customer complaints.
Continues Higgins, “Coors’ decision to adopt the invoice dispute management system will help them get even closer to their customers, while delivering service level and financial improvements.”
