Avance Group plc has appointed Andrew Bradshaw as finance director. Bradshaw will focus on developing Avance’s financial processes to meet future growth demands, with the company planning to double in size within three years.
A qualified accountant, Bradshaw has developed a wide range of commercial financial experience over the past 15 years, most recently as the managing director of Criterion Asset Management.
Four years after qualifying as an accountant (FCCA) in 1991, he joined Nomura International plc to work with Guy Hands in his newly established Principal Finance Group (PFG), later spun-out to create Terra Firma Capital Partners.
He has significant experience dealing with private equity/venture capital shareholders, having for ten years run businesses backed by private equity from Nomura, Sun Capital Partners (Hugh Osmond) and Investors in Private Capital (Reuben Brothers).
Jarlath McHale, managing director of Avance commented, “We are delighted to have secured someone of Andy’s calibre. His financial and commercial experience will add weight to our management team, and he has a proven track record of building financial models to underpin outsourcing projects.”
