Based on an industry standard, Echo electronically stores thousands of calls per day and saves them in an intelligently searchable database, ensuring they can be retrieved inexpensively at our partners’ or a customers’ request.

The system ensures we comply with all legislative requirements, and provides security for our clients who are under pressure to meet new and increasingly onerous legislative requirements.

Background

A 2006 survey revealed that only a minority of IT Directors are confident about their capabilities to comply with legislation surrounding recording and documenting telephone calls.

Given the number of national and supranational laws that impact on the recording of calls – such as the European Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act – compliance with them all is highly challenging. Echo provides peace of mind in this respect for our partners.
